Paul Henry Ahl, age 59, of Alma passed away December 6st, 2015 in the V A Hospital in Dublin Georgia after a short illness. He was a native of Pierce County but had lived in Bacon County most of his life. Paul was son of the late Alfred Henry Ahl and Condeta Povolne Ahl. Paul worked several years as a truck driver with D & N Trucking Company and had served our country for 8 years in the U S Marines during the Viet Nam War.
Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Elizabeth McCoy Ahl of Alma, two sons Shaun Beasley of Alma, Justin Ahl of Tampa, three daughters, Brittany Dyal of Alma, Heather Short and Michelle Ahl both of Tampa. Also 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 9th at 2:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. James Rimes and Rev. R B Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow on his farm. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening between 6 and 9 P M.
Active pallbearers will be Eddie McCarty, Calvin Layport, Linton Foster, Skee Bo Vaughn, Henry Morris and Robert Holland. Honorary pallbearers will be; Staff at Hospice House at Carl Vinson Hospital in Dublin, Ga., Staff of I C U at Carl Vinson V A Hospital, Donnie Buckins, Judo Sellers, Jimmy Turner, John and Josh Layport and Zeth Tanner.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
