Paul Henry Deen passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Satilla Hospice House in Waycross. He was born September 12, 1960 in Bacon County to Walter George Deen and Anne R. Deen. He was a radio broadcaster, owner of WAJQ FM and WAWO AM radio stations in Alma. He was a member of Southside Church of God.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, W. George Deen; sister, Mary Anita Deen Welty; paternal grandparents, Braswell D. Deen, Sr. and Corinne Smith Deen; maternal grandparents, H.I. Robertson and Alma G. Robertson Lee; father- and mother-in-law Othel and Geraldine Harper, and brother-in-law Clifford Harper.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Debra Harper Deen of Alma; daughter, Jennifer Deen of Alma; mother, Anne R. Deen of Alma; brothers Walt Deen and his wife Debra of Locust Grove, Georgia and David Deen of Alma; brothers-in-law, Randy Welty of Baxley and Ottis Harper of Douglas; brother- and sister-in-law, Ron and Sandra Weidner of Gray, Georgia.

A private graveside service will be held.
