Paul Douglas Garner, Sr., age 64, of Odum passed away suddenly June 27, 2024 at his residence. He was a native of Tampa, Florida born March 25, 1960 to the late Dewey A. Garner, Sr. and Nettie Irene York Garner. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Dewey A. Garner, Jr.  and two sisters, Trish Singleton and Carolyn Berry.

Survivors include seven children, Paul Garner, Jr. (Loretta) of Tampa, Charlie Sumner (Shyenne) of Jesup, Christina Sumner (Leonard) of Ft. Myers, Cynthia Wright (Billy) of Alma, Alex Brannen (Julian) of Jesup, Tessa Garner (Joey) of Tampa, Kasey Garner; two brothers, Mike Garner (Sandy) of Brookesville and Edward Garner of Tampa; sister, Sharon Albritton of Baxley; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bishop R. B. Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow in Roxie Mae Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Monday morning from 10:00 AM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be Leonard Sumner, Timmy Sumner, Billy Wright, Willy Wright, Mark Garner and Wyatt Wright. All others in attendance will be considered honorary.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
