Paul Edward Smith, Sr. age 60, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away Monday, March 14th at Pruitthealth in Valdosta after an extended illness. He was son of the late Percy Eunice Smith and Wilda June Lowe Smith and preceded in death by a brother Harold Smith and a nephew Paul Evan Smith. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy 8th Street.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Billie Dean Moore Smith of Valdosta, six sons, Paul Edward Smith, Jr. (Lisa), Jimmy Flynn Smith (Callie), Kevin Austin Smith and Treavor Eric Williams (Kaley) all of Alma, David Eunice Smith of Valdosta and Billy O'Neal Smith (Amanda) of PA., one daughter, Rebecca Ann Taylor (Jamie) of Alma, two brothers, Larry Smith (Donna) of Valdosta and Jessie Leon Smith of Kansas City, Kansas, two sisters, Patricia Ann Turner (Craig Andrews) of Alma and Ester Terrell (Carl) of Valdosta; also 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Jerami Shannon officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00 AM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Kevin, Billy, Bubba and Jimmy Smith, Justin Moore and David Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be; Boatright Trucking, Mike Moore Glenn Moore and Will Merritt.
