Pauline Fowler, age 82, of Alma passed away on Thursday, October 11th in Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, GA. after an extended illness. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late Elisha Carter and Mynola Williams Carter. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband W. A. Fowler, Jr, a sister, Norene Barber and a grandson, Zachary Fowler. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Fowler (Amy), Noel Fowler (Beth) of Chattanooga, TN and Alan Fowler (Angie) of Gibson, GA, three daughters, Wanda Timm (Bill) of Stone Mt, GA, Gail Bramlett (Dr. Dan) of Thomaston, GA and Hilda Fowler of New Port News, VA, one sister, Audrey Steedley of Alma, twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 15th at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Stone and Rev. Jimmy Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday evening between 6 and 9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Big Creek Baptist Church 701 Big Creek Church Road Alma, Ga. 31510.

Active pallbearers will be; Andrew Timm, David & Will Bramlett, Jacob, Jordan, Ian & Eli Fowler. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
