Peggy Taylor, Jr. age 82, of Alma passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Coffee Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Coffee County on December 18, 1935. His parents, Oliver Hutchenson and Linnie Taylor Hutchenson, wife Nella F. Waters Taylor and a daughter, Laurie Taylor Beverly preceded him in death. He was a member of the Douglas Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include two children, Tim Taylor and wife Beth of Rome, Georgia and  Michelle Parker and husband Dan of Alma, one half brother, Quinton Huthenson and wife Reggie of Alma; one sister-in-law, Anneyse Smart and husband Larry of Alma, 4 grandchildren and  5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 6 ^th at 2:00 PM at Douglas Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Rigdon and Rev. Charles Hutcheson officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 1:00 PM until funeral time.
