Perlis Taylor, age 83, of Alma passed away Tuesday, July 21st at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Bacon County, daughter of the late William Monroe Taylor and Cila Lee Taylor and preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Taylor McClug and Lola Taylor Lewis. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include a nephew, Larry Medders (Susie) of Alma, one niece, Jenny Ruth Claxton (Gene) of Orange Park, FL., three great nieces and nephew, Debbie Frith (Sonny) and Diane Huffman of Jacksonville, FL. and Paul Causey (Bonnie) of Oxford, AL., and a brother-in-law, Milton Lewis of Callahan, FL.

Graveside services will be held Friday, July 24th at 2:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Miles officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
