Perry Lee Streat, age 44, of Alma passed away suddenly July 12, 2024 at his residence. He was son of the late Dr. Alvin Perry Streat. Besides his father he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Grace Lee Streat and Perry Luther Streat; maternal grandparents, Waunee Tanner Stone and Daniel Aubrey Stone.

Survivors include his wife; Christine Swahn Streat; two children, Savannah Marie Streat and Presley Frances Streat; his mother, Sharon Stone Streat, two sisters, Misty Streat Youmans and Kristi Hennesy Middleton (Lance); nieces & nephews, Addison Grace and Aiden Lee Youmans, Payton Meeks, Landon Middleton, Sydnie Lake (Dillon) and Kellon Middleton.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 19, 2024 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor David Deen, Pastor Bryan Taylor and Bishop R. B. Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow in Meeks Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday from 1:30 PM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be: Terrell Youmans, Marshall Streat, Garett Streat, Trevor Moore, Tony Miller, Shane Howell, Ryan Fuchser and Henry Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be: Barber Family, Bacon County Class of 1998, Nathan Boatright, Steven Brigman, Tony Snell & family and all others in attendance.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
