Wylodine (Pete) Carter, age 89, of Alma passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. She was born on November 27, 1927 to the late James Thomas Williams and Cilla Medders Williams. Two husbands, Edsol Carter and Alton Carter, a daughter, Donna Williams and a sister, Inell Hunter preceded her in death. She was employed with Satilla REMC for many years and was a Member of the Alma First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Fenn and husband Bobby of Alma, four grandchildren, Tony Lee, Brandon Lee, Kris Ferris and Joel Williams, seven great-grandchildren, a son-in-law, Dr. George Williams of Alma and special friends, Andrea Nelson, Gail Pierce, Maurice Scott, Pam Johnson, Jerry Nall and Evelyn Steedley of Alma.

Funeral service will be held Monday, November 20 ^th at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Monday at First Baptist Church from 2:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Mark Johnson, Gerald Holland, Tim Graves, Ronnie Carter, Donnie Carter and Chip Pruitt. Honorary pallbearers will be; Employee's of Satilla REMC and the Joy Sunday School Class.
