Peter E. Duran, Jr., age 68, of Alma, passed away Friday December 24, 2021, at his residence after and extended illness. Peter was born October 11, 1953 in Colorado Springs, Co to the late Peter E. Duran, Sr. and Doris Dionne Duran. A sister, Tere Lee, also preceded Peter in death.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years Laura Toler Duran, 2 sons Brian Peter Duran and Simon Joseph Duran of Alma, 2 sisters Dolores Barber of San Antonio, TX and Victoria Anderson of Colorado Springs, CO, his father and mother in-laws Larry and Rachel Toler, 2 brothers in-law Casey Toler and Lee Toler (Stacy) all of Alma, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2PM in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Jerome Grenade and Rev. Scott Pickering officiating.  Internment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-2 PM prior to the funeral service. Active pallbearers include Casey Toler, Lee Toler, Thomas Dial, Randy Johnson, Nicholas Arp, and Jerry Boatright. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escort.
