Quinton Hutchenson, age 79, of Alma, was called home to be with the Lord suddenly at his residence on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Born in Bacon County on April 3, 1942 to Oliver Hutchenson and Linnie Taylor Hutchenson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by Peggy Taylor, Jr. (Junior) and five infant brothers.

Mr. Hutchenson is survived by his wife of 60 years, Regina (Reggie) Medders Hutcheson of Alma; two daughters Sherry Rimes (Al) of Fernandina Beach, FL and Mary Sue Taylor (Tony) of Alma; grandchildren Mandi Taylor (Stephen) of Kingsland, GA, Trey Rimes (Crystal) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Lindsey Mathews (Brody), Matthew and Cole Taylor all of Alma; great-grandchildren, Kadence Taylor, Jasper Mathews, William Rimes, IV, Jake Mathews, Caden Cross, Hunter and Nathan Taylor. Uncle Quinton is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Music officiating. Interment will follow in Wolf Pit Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Trey Rimes, Brody Mathews, Henry Sweat, Stephen Taylor, Terry Taylor and Ashley Yawn. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
