Randy H. Braddy, Sr., age 67, of Alma of Alma passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Toombs County on February 19, 1951 to the late Hugh B. Braddy and Margaret Evans Braddy. A son, Mark Braddy, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mary Sue Thompson Braddy of Alma, three sons, Randy H. Braddy, Jr. (Nikki) of Douglas, Matthew Braddy of Waycross and Christopher Lee Braddy (Lindsey) of Alma, one daughter, Mari Beth Dyal (Jimmy) of Alma, three brothers, Rick Braddy (Sharon) of Statesboro, GA., Dale Braddy (Theresa) of Lilburn, GA., David Braddy of Statesboro, GA. one sister, Cathy Deal (Ken) of Statesboro, GA. and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 28 ^th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Darby and Rev. J.T. Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Braddy Family Cemetery in Montgomery County.The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday evening between 6 and 9 PM.

Bacon County Firefighters will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be all local and surrounding counties and volunteer firefighters  and all others in attendance.
