Paul Randall “Randy Hamburger” Helms, age 67, of Alma passed away July 7, 2026 at Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. He was born August 19, 1958, in Macon Georgia to the late Dallas C. Helms and Dorothy Nell Johnson Helms.

Randy was a truck driver for 35 years and member of Southside Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Devin Jessie Helms and sister, Sondra Holmes. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Cynthia Sellers Helms; son, Brandon Helms (Nikki) of Alma; brothers, Chris Helms (Janice) of Alma, Mark Helms (Carla) of North Dakota and Jeff McDowell (Janet) Dahlonega; sisters, Patricia Owens (Linwood) of Patterson; mother-in-law, Verna Mincey and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor David Deen officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be Brian Cason, Scott Johnson, Leviticus Helms, David Cason, Tank Noble and Tony Taylor. All others in attendance will be considered honorary pallbearers.

Crosby Funeral Home will oversee arrangements.
