Ashley Ray Dyal, age 69, of Alma passed away January 2, 2024 at St. Vincent's Hospital after a brief illness. He was born September 4, 1954 in Nicholls, Georgia to the late Marvin Dyal and Eunice Douglas Lee. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Billy Jack Dyal, David Jack Dyal, Richard Dyal, Aldine Dyal; sisters, Judy Kirkland and Christy Dell Dyal and step father, Willie Lee.

Survivors include his son, Ben Dyal of Nicholls; two brothers, Daniel (Karen) Dyal and Quitman Dyal and sister, Ernie Dean Lee of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Lees Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Lee and Rev. Greg Delk officiating. Interment will follow in Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be Jason Lee, Body Johnson, Jody Johnson, Peter Lee, Steven Lee and David Geraldo. Honorary pallbearers will be Mandy Boatright, Jennie Lee, Evelyn Dunlap, Steve and Carolyn Lee, Jeff Lee and Home Health Care.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
