Raymond Edward Hand, Jr., age 56, of Alma passed away September 14, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in Waycross after an extended illness.  He was born in Coffee County but lived most of his life in Bacon County.

Mr. Hand worked for Flash Foods for many years and was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Lucinda "Cindy" Hand; son, Carson Hand of Alma; Maddie his loyal canine companion; father, Raymond Edward Hand, Sr. (Gail) of Floey, AL; mother, Vernelle Wilcox Vincent (Don) of Douglas; mother in law, Jean Clements of Nicholls and aunt, Joan Carver of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Dry Creek Baptist Church with Rev. David Davis, Rev. James Steed and eulogy given by Heath Carver. Interment will follow in Hall Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday evening between 6 and 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be: Jeffrey Clements, Jaycee Clements, Jordan Clements, Tyler Nettles, David Ray and Kenneth Loper. Honorary pallbearers will be: Patt Lott and We Care Staff, Dr. Srinigesh and Alma Dialysis.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
