Raymond Rod Holton, Jr., age 47, of Nicholls passed away on May 26, 2022 at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Bacon County but had lived most of his life in Coffee County He was son of the late Raymond R. "Rod" Holton.

Survivors include his mother, Beverly A. Gilliard Holton of Nicholls; son, Zachery Raymond Holton of LaGrange; brother, Wesley Gilliard (Denise) of Nicholls and sister, Julie Holton (Jamie) of West Green; four nieces, Amber Morris, Summer Gilliard, Sarah Murray and Hadley Merritt.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Tanner and Rev. Tommy James officiating. Interment will follow in Hall Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Scottie Thomas, Stacey Starnes, Jerome Baisden, John Anderson, Larry Hersey and Gene Tanner. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
