Retta Mae Cribb, age 92, of Fernandina Beach, FL died Thursday March 29 ^th , 2018 at Baptist Medical Center Nassau after an extended illness.  She was a native of Bacon County but had lived in Fernandina the past 55 years.  She was daughter of the late Lum Lewis and Rilla Purvis Lewis and was also preceded in death by two husbands Wylie Spivey and Tom Lewis, three brothers Okie, George (G M) and Johnnie Earl Purvis, a sister Jackie Green. Retta Mae was a member of the Light House Tabernacle Church in Fernandina.

Survivors include two brothers Walter Spivey (Virginia) of Fernandina, Carlos Spivey (Connie) of Yulee, FL three daughters Leola Truman (Kirk) of Fernandina, Eula Mae Bass (Clovis) of Melbourne, FL, Frances Harris of Yulee, 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 36 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home in Alma with Rev. Charles Levitt officiating.  Mike Spivey will deliver a eulogy.  Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday between 12 noon and funeral time 2:00 P M.

Active pallbearers will be family members.
