Rhonda Sharee Smith, age 40, of Alma passed away Sunday, February 21st at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah after a short illness. She was daughter of the late Ronnie Smith and preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Smith. Rhonda was a member of Zion Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Gladys Green, a daughter, Nykendra Smith of Alma, one brother, Terrence Smith of Newark, NJ., and four sisters, Martesa Green of Atlanta, Tammy Brown (James) of Arizona, Belinda Mosby of Douglas and Chandra Lotharp (James) of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27th at 11:30 AM at the First African Baptist Church with Stephon Deen officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be; Jason Carter, Jessie Roberts, Marcus Baker, Tony Overstreet, Steve Davis and Danny Joe Wertz. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
