Richard Carlton Cohran, age 82, of Alma passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 15th at his residence. He was a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Richard was son of the late Leon Cohran and Margaret Silas Cohran and preceded in death by three brothers, Herbert, Edward and Robert Cohran.
Survivors include his wife of 31years, Barbara Beckett Cohran of Alma, a daughter, Tammy Finley Breeding (Carroledd) of Keystone Heights, FL. five stepchildren, Rocky Finley of Jacksonville, FL., Bill Finley of Brunswick, GA., Johnny Daniels of Alma, Brad Daniels (Stacey) of Lewiston, ID., and Sherry Martin of Jacksonville, FL., one sister, Lillian Woods (Junior) of Glennville, GA.; also 4 grandchildren, Anastasia and Seth Daniels, Chris Breeding and Tonya Martin.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Billy Shores officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 PM until funeral time.
Active pallbearers will be; Troy Smith, Tommy Vickers, Carroledd Breeding, Bryan Sapp, Jody Stone, Randall Lankford and Stevie Lewis. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
