Rickey D. Disharoon, age 58, passed away on April 5, 2021 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida after a short illness. Born in Jeff Davis County on August 31, 1962 to Jessie Disharoon and Jenean Stallings Medders. He was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.

Survivor include his wife, Melissa King; two daughters, Kacie Sanchez and Carmen Disharoon; two brothers, Carroll Disharoon (Felicia) of Baxley and Donald Disharoon (Mary) of Beaufort, SC.; one sister, Belinda Gail Medders (Pancho) of Nicholls and two grandchildren, Bianca Disharoon and Morgan Sanchez.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Darby officiating. Interment will follow at Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 AM until funeral time.
