Ricky E. Pinson, age 63, of Nicholls passed away at his residence November 19, 2023 after a short illness. He was a native of New Orleans and son of the late Everett Pinson and Edna Pinson Cox. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by son, Cory Pinson, brother, Sam Pinson and sister, Glenda Meeks.

Mr. Pinson served in the US Army and was a retired Truck Driver.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Judy Ann Murray Pinson; two children, Charles Justin "C.J." Pinson (Katherine) and Cindi Vanessa Pinson Rembert (Carson); three grandchildren; and sisters, Becky Pinson Hollis and Lynn Martin (Barry Radeka).

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. James "Jimbo Steed officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:00 PM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be Patrick Thompson, Jeff Evans, Brett Meeks, Ken Miles, James "Bobo" Davis, George Williams and Scotty Meeks. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky and Tami Boatright and the staff and drivers of Boatright Trucking.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
