Riley H. (R.H.) Dixon, age 78, of Alma passed away February 08, 2025 at Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. He was born November 08, 1946 in Bacon County to the late Harry Dixon and Othella Boatright Dixon.

He served in the US Army.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Rebecca (Becky) Hutcheson Dixon, his son Michael Dixon (Candace Conner), and daughter Lisa husband Pete Rewis; 5 grandchildren, Coby (Cherry) Rewis, Caleb Rewis, Lawson Dixon, Laina Dixon, and Joah Dixon; two sisters Jackie (Freddie) Cunningham, and Dorothy (Ernie) Gunn of Conyers, Ga.

The family would like to thank the Bacon County Hospital, ICU staff, Connie Tyre, Tammy Davis, Jessica Hancock, Jeannie Johnson, Hospice of South Georgia, and  all others involved in his care, for the excellent care and compassion they showed my dad while he was in their care.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Southside Church of God with Pastor David Deen and R.M. Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Ramah Cemetery. Family will be receiving friends Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 6-8 PM at Crosby Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Coby Rewis, Caleb Rewis, Lawson Dixon, Jeffery Williford, Levi King and Ray Thrift. All in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
