Robert W. Shuemake, age 47, of Nicholls passed suddenly June 26th at Mayo Clinic. He was a native of Appling County but had lived in Nicholls the past twelve years. Robert was son of the late James Shuemake and preceded in death by a brother, Billy Shuemake and a sister, Dorothy Shuemake.

Survivors include his wife of eleven years, Charlotte Criswell Shuemake of Nicholls, his mother, Lydia Gaskin Shuemake, two daughters, Brandi Shuemake of South Carolina and Sheree Shuemake of Hazlehurst

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 29th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery in Appling County. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Kirk & Kyle Ivey, Terry McCall, Russell & Darien Waters and Bo Shuemake. All others in attendance will be honorary escorts.
