Robert Blake Thompson, age 47, of Alma passed away Tuesday, February 19th at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Bacon County, the son of Jimmy Don Thompson and preceded in death by a brother, Mark Thompson.

Survivors include his mother, Jeannine Williams Taylor, ex wife, Kim Thompson, a daughter, Jessica Thompson & fiancé, Sam Johnson, a brother, Marshall Thompson (Rhonda) a half brother, Brian Thompson (Candi), sister, Debbie Thompson, half sister, Summer Thompson and two grandchildren, Blayden & Blakelee Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 21st at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Barth and Rev. Dale Carver officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening between 6 and 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Greg Bagley, Bubba Thompson, Colby Turner, Brandon Johnson, Ronnie, Kyle, & Austin Hyers & Tim Stone. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
