Robin Palmer Taylor, age 61, passed away peacefully at her residence October 3, 2025 after battling breast cancer.. She was born November 29, 1963 in Taylor County, Florida, but made Alma her home most of her life. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Will and Rob Taylor and her mother, Ann Johnson Palmer.
Robin was a 1982 Graduate of Bacon County High School, member of the Alma Christian Fellowship Church and was currently employed as Office Manager of Boatright Trucking.
Robin was a creative and crafty woman. She enjoyed cooking for her family as well as adding a personal and thoughtful touch to everything she did. She was a devoted wife and mother. She most loved being Nannie to her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Tony Taylor; her father, Bruce Palmer (Ruth) of Jesup; two daughters, Laura Hancock (Blake) of Savannah and Aly Moore (Jacob) of Douglas; four grandchildren, Landon & Taylor Hancock, Samuel & Naomi Moore and sister, Lorri Tanner (Jimmy) of Loganville.
Funeral services will be held Monday (October 6,2025) at 2:00 PM from the Alma Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Calvin Morris officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
Honorary pallbearers will be Boatright Trucking and Alma Christin Fellowship.
