Rodney Scott Sears, age 48, of Alma passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday, September 21, 2020. He was born in Bacon County on September 10, 1972 to the late George Sears and Beverly Greene Sears.

He was a member of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Beverly Sears, brother, Devin Sears and wife Deanna, sister, Judy Conner and husband Michael, nephews, Lott (Victoria) Conner, Jackson Conner and Garrett Sears, nieces, Candace Conner Cailyn Sears, Ava Conner and Addelyn Dillingham.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 24 ^th at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Graveside will follow immediately after visitation at church cemetery with Rev. Greg Delk, Rev. Randy Cox and Rev. R. B. Gaskins officiating.

Active pallbearers will be; Jackson and Lott Conner, Garrett Sears, Spence Nobles, Jody and Cory Johnson.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
