Roger Smiley, age 69, of Alma passed away on June 24, 2021 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Pierce County on December 1, 1951 to Samuel Smiley and Karrie White Smiley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Strozier Smiley; son, Rogers Christopher Noble; brothers, Enoch Smiley and Quitman Smiley; six sisters, Vernell Wilson, Annie Mae Moore, Lula Williams, Laura Smiley, Ida Rivers and Nellie Ruth Smith. He was a member of Zion Chapel Church.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah K. Noble and two sisters, Mae Catherine Smiley and Betty Thompson and one sister-in-law, Dorceil Smiley of Baxley.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Stephon Deen officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
