Ronnie Hayes, age 79, of Nicholls passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the Bacon County Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Bacon County on March 24, 1941 to Ealey Hayes and Eula Tanner Hayes.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Camellia Dickey Hayes and a brother, Timer Hayes.

Mr. Ronnie served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and was a member of Campground Methodist Church.

Survivors include his children, Keith Hayes and wife Karen, Mike Hayes of Blackshear and Rhonda Gail Beverly of Waycross, brothers, Bucky Hayes and wife Fannie and Leroy Hayes and wife Elizabeth "Liz" of Alma, sister, Frankie Cothern of Nicholls, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 5 ^th at 10:00 AM at Campground Methodist Church with Rev. T. F. Yawn officiating and with Military Honors.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
