Ronnie Errol Tanner, age 62, of Alma passed away at his residence on Monday, October 21, 2019 after a short illness. He was born on April 19, 1957 to the late Marvin Tanner, Sr. and Thirse Richardson Tanner. Ronnie was preceded in death by brothers Lonnie Tanner, Warren Tanner, Marvin Tanner, Jr., Joey Eugene Tanner and a sister Gladys Tanner Lee.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Lola Siffles Tanner, sons Matthew Cory Tanner (Emily) and Christopher Earol Tanner of Alma, brother Donnie Tanner, sisters Connie Walls (Kenny) and Faye Cothern of Hazlehurst, 9 grandchildren and special friends Mike Palmer, John & Julia Johnson of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 24 ^th at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. John Johnson and Rev. Thomas Colter officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 PM.

Cremation will follow the service.
