Rose Marie Elliott, age 68, passed away at her residence June 21, 2026, after an extended illness. She was born in Bacon County on June 14,1958, to the late George Anderson Elliott and Vernie Alice Lee Elliott.

She is survived by her sister, Lola Elaine Shireman of Alma; her brothers, Richard Allen Elliott (Donna) of Waycross and George Gary Elliott (Bernie) of California; nieces and nephews, Halee McElroy, Hollee Graddy, Hillaree Crawford, Jennifer Lynn, Amy Elliott, Angela Marie Ehrle, Larry Anderson McCarthy, Tara Lynn Boatright, and William Adam Lairsey.

Funeral services will be held Thursday June 25, 2026, at Old Pine Grove Church at 11 AM with Rev. Randy Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include Larry McCarthy, Chris McElroy, Ryan Graddy, Bennett McCarthy, Adam Lairsey, and Ashton Crawford.
