Royce William Tucker, age 75, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away March 3, 2022 at Orange Park Medical Center after a short illness. Born in Bacon County on August 11, 1946 to Allen William Tucker and Lelia Crosby Tucker. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Faye Tucker and two sisters, Annette and Irene Tucker.

Mr. Tucker served in the U.S. Army and was retired from Winn Dixie.

Survivors include two children, Keith Tucker and Wendy Learn; grandson, Brandon Learn of Jacksonville; three brothers, Warren Tucker (Barbara), Cecil Tucker (Rita) of Mershon and Dilworth Tucker (Judy) of Alabama; four sisters, Gloria Lee, Alice Miles and Aline Rowland (Lester) of Alma and Liz Williams (Robert) of Blackshear; also sister in laws, Sue Smith (John), Faye Howell (Tommy) and Jean Clark and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Mullis and Rev. Joe Thigpen officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Scott Tucker, Allen Tucker, Chad Lee, Mikeal Miles, Robbie Williams and Derrick Rowland. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
