Mrs. Rudine Mims Paulk, age 91, of Alma passed away December 28, 2022 at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Coffee County March 12, 1931 to the late Dewey Mims and Lila Mae Robinson Mims. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elisha L. "Speed" Paulk and sister, Juanita Bollinger.

Mrs. Paulk retired from the Bacon County School System and was a member of New Vision Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Kim Traynham and husband Jeff and Barbara Howard; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bro. Pet Hayes and Bro. Vic Peacock officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Friday from 1:30 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be: Austin Rue, Shelby Rue, Jacob Rue, Jonathan Traynham, Chad Johnson and Dillon Peacock. Honorary pallbearers will be; James Jordan and staff of Lamar's Pharmacy, Edwin Lewis and Tender Care and staff of Douglas.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
