Rusty Dale Waters, age 38, of Alma passed away suddenly at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. He was son of the late Ronnie Dale Waters. Besides his father he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Carroll Lee Waters and maternal grandfather Curtis Ray Hardwick.

Survivors include his mother, Charlotte Hardwick Waters (Ted Stewart) of Blackshear, GA., daughter Chloe Waters of Alma, paternal grandmother Catherine Waters of Nicholls, maternal grandmother Willene Hardwick of Alma, two brothers, Dusty Ray Waters (Emily) and Kevin Michael Waters of Alma and uncles, Curtis & Marvin Hardwick of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 5 ^th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley Beckham officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:30 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Curtis Hardwick, Marvin Hardwick, Timbo Waters and Johnny Rewis. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
