Ruth Taylor Lee, age 93, of Nicholls passed away September 29, 2022 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born in Pierce County on June 30, 1929 to the late Jack Taylor and Sarah Ellis Taylor. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lemuel H. Lee, Sr., son, Mike Lee, four brothers, Quincey Taylor, Bennie Taylor, R. G. Taylor and A. J. Taylor and sister, Ella Mae Crawford.

Survivors include three children, Jeff Lee (Benji) of Nicholls, Lemuel H. Lee, Jr. (Sybil) of Greenville, AL and Naomi Taylor of Green Bay, Wisconsin; sister, Clara Taylor of South Carolina and six grandchildren Scott & Paul Debauche, Megan, Emily, Jay and Ashley Lee and four great grandchildren, Mack Yadon, Axel Cone, Gavin & Rhett Lee.

Graveside services will be held Monday (October 3, 2022) at 10:00 AM at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Noah Carter officiating.

Per Mrs. Lee wishes please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society instead of flowers.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
