Mrs. Sandra Douglas Deen, age 73, of Alma passed away July 19, 2022 at Memorial Health in Savannah after a short illness. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late Fred M. Douglas and Eula Johnston Douglas. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Danny Douglas and sister Sharon Byars.

Mrs. Sandra was retired from the Bacon County Sheriff's Office and was a member of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jimmy Deen; three children, Clay (Leah) Deen, Robin (Robbie) Johnson and Cindy (Kevin) Hall; brother, Don (Karen) Douglas; sister, Shirley (Ron) Lipsey; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 22 ^nd at 10:00 AM at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church with Bishop R. B. Gaskins and Rev. Greg Delk officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Devin Hall, Dylan Deen, Cody Canady, Bryan Andrews, Jon Lipsey and Dustin Johnson. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
