Sandra (Sandy) Kay Rewis, age 76, of St. Simons Island Georgia passed away at Hospice of Golden Isles on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 after a short illness. She was a native of Ware County but had lived on St. Simons since 1985. She was daughter of the late Lawrence James Cooper, Jr. and Sandra Rackley Cooper and preceded in death by a brother-in-law Ronald Rewis.  After graduating from Mount de Sales Academy in 1960 she spent her working years with Quaker Oaks Company, was a Member of the Sea Island Golf Club for over 25 years and a member of several Bridge Clubs and was a Member of the St. Simons United Methodist Church.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert (Bobby) E. Rewis of St. Simons Island, GA. one brother-in-law, Donald Rewis (Norma) of Doraville, GA., two sisters-in laws, Johnita Dykes (Marcus) of Hazlehurst, GA. and Vicky Adams (Joel) Adams of Nicholls, GA.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the St. Simons United Methodist Church with Rev. Marcia Cochran and Rev. Richard Soper officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Simons United Methodist Church.

Ushers of St. Simons Island United Methodist Church will serve as active pallbearers.
