Mrs. Sandra Taylor Wilson, age 77, of Alma passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Coffee Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born in Bacon County September 25, 1947 to Preston R. Taylor and Mary Lou Douglas Taylor.

Mrs. Sandra was retired from the Bacon County Primary School after 30 years of service and was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by grandson, Drayden Sears, great-grandchildren, Abram Kale Wilson and Gracie Kay Cauley; sister, Gwen Evans and brother in law, Johnny Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dailey Wilson of Alma; three children, Rodney (Carla) Wilson of Alma, Lori (Mickey) Anderson of Nicholls and Marci (Matthew) Daniels of Hazlehurst; eight grandchildren, Kelli (Garrett) Altman, Meagan (Kenneth) Conley, Taylor Wilson, Darian (Ryan) Ireland, Kaylee (Blake) Cauley, Weslee (Alivia) Wilson, Conner Taylor and Jeremiah Daniels; 12 great-grandchildren, sister, Cheryl Johnson of Alma; brother-in-law, J. B. Evans of Alma and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. David Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be Taylor Wilson, Weslee Wilson, Conner Taylor, Garrett Altman, Blake Cauley and Kenneth Conley. Honorary pallbearers will be the Dry Creek Church Family and Amedisys Home Health.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
