Sarah Barber Thompson, age 61, of Alma passed away Thursday, October 6th at St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. after an extended illness. She was daughter of the late John Henry Barber and Ruth Leagan Barber.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years Danny Thompson, a daughter Lisa Smith, three grandchildren, Tiffany Barnes, Shea and Bree Nettles and one great-grandchild, Kaydence Barnes of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 10th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Vic Peacock officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 PM until funeral time.

Honorary pallbearers will be; Bacon County EMS, Bacon County ER, Theo Clark, St. Vincent's CCU & Coronary Dept., Darrell and Grace Douglas.
