Satria "Sally" Rigdon, age 69, of Nicholls passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Hospice House in Waycross after an extended illness. She was born on October 3, 1947 to the late Troy Shaddix and Willie Mae Douglas Lee. Satira was preceded in death by her husband Roy "Rooster" Rigdon, a son, Clay (Bo) Hayes, a brother, Hurman Lee, sister-in-law, Nadine Rigdon Hayes, and two brother-in-law, Herbert and Royce Rigdon. She was a member of First Community Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Tammy Rigdon Anderson of Waycross, Laura Rigdon Graham (Mark) of Nicholls, Julie Lavender (Tim) and Jill Baskin (Levi) of Alma, one brother Thurman Lee (Donna) of North Carolina, six sisters, Rebecca Lee Varnadore (David) of Alma, Gale Hyde Smith (Penny) of Brunswick, Dale Hyde Strickland of Jesup, Faynell Hyde Humphreys (Nelson) of Pensacola, FL., one brother-in-law, Wilbert Rigdon; also seven grandchildren, Leigha Anderson, Aaron Anderson, Jacob Roy Graham, Kimmie Lavender, Tanya Anderson Hand, Eric Anderson and Anthony Anderson of Alma and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 5 ^th at 11:00 from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Dr. Dale Carver and Rev. T. F. Yawn officiating. Interment will follow in Wolf Pit Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 9 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with medical expenses.

Active pallbearers will be; Randy and Stevie Altman, Mark Graham, Neil Rigdon, Andy Hayes, Eric and Anthony Anderson. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
