Scheryl D. Benton, 69, of Bella Vista, AR passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born October 4, 1944 in Alma, Georgia to Huel L. Benton and Verline Butler Benton.
Scheryl graduated from Bacon County High School in Alma, Georgia…..
She enjoyed getting her hands dirty working in the soil to create beautiful flower gardens, taking great care to make her home an inviting place for her family to gather. Scheryl moved to Northwest Arkansas to be near her two sons and their families; her entire life was dedicated to her children and grandchildren. They all knew that she valued them above all else.
She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of New Hope Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Scheryl is survived by two sons, Brett Johnson and wife, Amanda, of Bella Vista and Benton Johnson and wife, Lisa, of Rogers, AR; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Luke and Addison Johnson.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00PM, Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00AM, Thursday, October 24, 2013 at New Hope Assembly of God in Rogers, with Pastor James Longmate officiating.
A graveside service will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Alma, Georgia Sunday at 2:00 PM.
