Anthony Shawn Slaughter, age 37, of Alma passed away on May 12, 2018 at St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death  by his maternal grandfather, James Nettles, paternal grandparents, Laura Mae Slaughter & Herschel Slaughter.

Shawn is survived by his parents, Ronnie Roscoe Slaughter and Wanda Nettles Slaughter of Alma and two brothers, Terry Slaughter and wife Jelena of Byron, GA. and Larry Slaughter of Nicholls, GA.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 16 ^th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. James Steed officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Kevin Kirkland, Michael Medders, Ian Santos, Ernie Hatten, Carl Legett, Kecey Lovelace and Corey Mikell. Honorary pallbearers will be; Harvey's Supermarket of Alma and St. Vincent's Riverside Hsopice.

Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
