Sherrie Melinda Hurst Siffles, age 70, passed away suddenly July 04, 2026, at Bacon County Hospital. She was born in Chatham County October 23, 1955, to the late Joe Hurst and Betty Williams Hurst. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Cody Bargeron and her sister, Laurie Lewis.

She retired from Jay’s IGA as a salesclerk after many years of service.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Morgan; sons, Anthony Lee Collins of Alma and Bobby Dean Collins, Jr. of Pembroke, GA; daughters, Michelle Rigby (Ken) and Angel Bargeron, both of Alma; brother, Steve Hurst (Tammy) of Statesboro; sisters, Tammy Hickman of Statesboro, Shannon Willoughby of Guyton, and Glenda Eason of South Carolina; grandchildren, Joshua (Lexi), Matthew, and Addyson Rigby, Jada Ellis, Bradley Bargeron, Kyler Williams, Michael, and Katie Collins; two great-grandchildren, Bentlee and Lainee Rigby.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday July 08, 2026, in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home at 11 AM.
