Sherry Ann Taylor, age 78, passed away June 07, 2025, after a short illness. She was born December 05, 1946, to the late Leon Hyers and Aline Albritton Goodbread. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Larry Taylor; her sister, Beth Hyers and four brothers, Ronald, Bobby, Malcolm, and Willie Hyers.

She was retired from the Bacon County Hospital financial department and was a member of Pine Level FWB Church.

She is survived by one son, James Bradley Taylor (Tyrane) of Alma; two daughters, Tammy Renea Taylor (Donnie Jack), of Alma and Brandi Douglas of Alma; one brother, Danny Hyers (Susie) of Yulee, FL; five sisters, Latrelle Trogden (Bob), of Alma, Jan Kicklighter of Brunswick, Ga, Linda Johnson (Bill) of Alma, Sandy Wilder (Ronald) of Fernandina, FL, and Debbie Malone (Henry) of Yulee, FL.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 2 PM in the chapel at Crosby Funeral Home with Rev Michael McClintock and Dawn Nobles officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 1 PM until service time. Interment to follow at Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include Chris Anderson, Chase Taylor, Ashton Anderson, John Moore, Shane Taylor, and Stacy Kirkland.

Honorary pallbearers include the Bacon County Hospital and Health System employees.
