Shirley Evers, age 56, of Nicholls passed away suddenly Monday, September 26th at the Bacon County Hospital. She was daughter of the late William B. Evers and Jessie Mae Taylor Evers and preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Ray Evers, Sr. and Ricky Evers, Sr., three nieces Sherrie, Carrie and Mandy Evers, a stepbrother, Danny Ray McMillan and maternal grandmother, Pauline Taylor.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Sheila Taylor Justice of Jesup, stepmother, Edna Faye Baisden Wheeler of Lyons, GA. one brother, Jerry Ray Evers (Dorrie) of Berlin, GA., one sister, Tanya Faye Dismuke (Danny) of Lyons, GA.; also three grandchildren, Justin Deen, Carla and Matthew Henderson and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 30th at 2:00 PM at Hall Cemetery with Rev. Billy Mac Dyal officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM

Active pallbearers will be; Rickey Evers, Jr., Chad Evers, Jerry Evers, Jr., Jacob Dismuke and Danny Dismuke.
