SHIRLEY ANN SINGLETON
Shirley Ann Singleton, 73, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2022. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Russell D. Staley and Cena Ivalee Payne Staley. Ann was a member of the Southside Church of God in Alma, GA.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Homer and Lonnie Staley and infant brother Paul Staley; five sisters, Bertha Mae Shepard, Edith Costner, Macey Shelton, Ruby Terrell and infant sister Dacey Staley; former husbands, Levy Eugene Allbritton and Bennie Edward Walsh.
She is survived by former spouse, Carl Singleton, three sons, Joe Walsh (Melanie), Dwayne Walsh (Amanda), and Emmett Walsh (Sandy); two daughters, Teresa Lavender (Dr. Gary Fischer), April Bradshaw (Tracy); three step-children, Tim Allbritton, Scott Singleton (Jennifer) and Paul Singleton; nineteen grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Mae Knight; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Pat McCarty.
Active Pallbearers: Marty Mullis, Dillon Davis, Adam Walsh, Shane McCarty, Joshua Bradshaw and Michael Bradshaw.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Southside Church of God with Rev. David Deen officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 1:00 PM until funeral time. Interment will follow in Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
