Stella Inez Harris Deen, age 90, of Alma passed away at her residence on Thursday, April 19, 2018 after an extended illness. She was daughter of the late Jimps Harris and Effie Boatright Harris. Two husbands, Leroy Hollis Deen and John Dillingham, a daughter, Lucy Boone, four brothers, Jay Hugh Harris, Robert Harris, Buddy Harris and Jim Harris and six sisters, Willanell Hayes, Guynell Matthews, Inez Hyers, Lola Durrance and Maude Hyers and Odessa Harris preceded her in death.

Mrs. Deen is survived by four sons, Leroy Deen, Jr. (Jessie) of Thomasville, GA., Larry Deen (Ernie Mae), Leslie C. Deen (Ellen) and Lynn Ray Deen all of Alma, two daughters, Linda Simmons of Baxley, GA. and Letricia Ledford (Harold) of Mt. Vernon, GA., one sister, Wynell Sessions of Douglas, a son-in-law, Gordon Boone of Douglas; also 21 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 36 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. John Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 PM until funeral time. The family will also receive friends Saturday, April, 21 ^st from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the home of Stella Deen.

Active pallbearers will be; Lynn Deen, Joe Deen, Shane Ledford, Greg Ledford, Michael McDaniel, Leslie Deen, Brad Boone, Mitchell Boone and Timothy Deen.

All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
