Stephanie Michelle Burkett, age 44, of Alma passed away suddenly at the Bacon County Hospital Wednesday, July 19, 2017. She was born on February 21, 1973 in Douglas, Georgia but had been living in Alma. Stephanie was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Jessie Mae Stewart.

Survivors include her parents, Raymon Burkett and Kathy Godwin Burkett of Alma, two children, Logan Martin of Waynesville, GA. and Paige Burkett of Douglas, GA., two brothers, Shane Burkett (Angie) of Douglas, GA. and James Medders of Jacksonville, FL. and one grandson, Jaxson Burkett.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 22 ^nd at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. R. B. Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Allen Thrift, Dalton Burkett, Steve Martin, Garrett Anderson, Ethan Taylor and Avery Taylor.
