Steve L. Quinn, age 66, of Alma died at his Mothers home early Wednesday morning, August 27, 2014 after an extended illness. He was a native of Jeff Davis County but had lived in Bacon County most of his life, was preceded in death by his wife Margie Adams Quinn, father, Grady Quinn and a sister Kathy Quinn. Steve was a member of Campground Methodist Church and worked as a vehicle mechanic for 40 years.

Survivors include his mother, Jimmie Tanner Quinn of Alma, a son, Jason Quinn of Alma, a daughter, Jackie Ramsdell (Stewart) of Alma, three grandchildren, Brian & Sarah Ramsdell and Jasper Quinn all of Alma, brother-in-law, Edward Adams of Nicholls, a nephew, Kevin Quinn of Alma, a dear friend, Lynn Taylor of Alma and several great nieces and nephews survive.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 2:00 P M at Campground Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Andy Capshaw and Rev. Pet Hayes officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday evening between 6 and 9 P M.

Active pallbearers will be, Wiley Graham, Bruce Burnette, Andy Cothern, Bubba Simmons, Calvin Morris and Ronald Ryals. All others in attendance will be considered as honorary.
