Obituary

Ashley Stevie Taylor, age 69, passed away May 01, 2026, at HCA Memorial Florida Hospital in Jacksonville, FL after an extended illness. He was born in Coffee County on October 15, 1956, to the late William Richard Taylor and Mildred Collene Nettles Taylor. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Ray, Willie, and Robert Taylor.

He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Nicholls. He retired from Fleetwood Mobile Homes after many years of service.

He is survived by his daughter, Tabitha Cox (Kevin) of Maryland; two grandchildren, Jaden Taylor and Abigail Starling; his brother, James Carol Taylor (Sharon) of Tennessee; and his sister, Barbara Ann Wood (Rodney Dixon) of Alma. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 05, 2026, in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home at 2 PM with Rev. Tommy James officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday from 6-9 PM.

Honorary pallbearers include Ronnie Kirkland, Austin Meeks, Cory Meeks, Erin Meeks, and James T. Lawson.
