Susan Carlene Story, age 65, of Alma passed away suddenly on January 26, 2020 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born on November 30, 1954 in Bacon County to Joshua Hall Story and Annie Carlene Mercer Westberry. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by brother Mitchell Wright Story and sister Vicki Ann Story Howell. She attended Old Pine Grove Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Joshua Stephen Story of Alma and Kenneth Carl Westberry of Albany, NY. and a special niece and caregiver, Kimberly Story Spires of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 29 ^th at 2:00 PM at Old Pine Grove Methodist Church with Bro. Randy Cox and Pastor Dan Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening between 6 and 8 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Andrew Watson, Austin Trejo, Dakota Olvera, Ethan Young, Mike Manning, Bill Hyers and Enrique Howell. Honorary escorts will be the Staff and Clients of Bacon County Community Services.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
